Quality Ingredients

The most important requirements for brewing awesome beer!

Good Water Source

Clean water is essential to a good tasting beer (it is mostly water after all). Our brew water is run through a series of filters to remove unwanted impurities.

Quality Grain

Only the best grain is used in our beers, with most of the grain being locally sourced from local WA producers.

Healthy Yeast

High yeast counts are pitched from a live yeast starter that is prepared the day prior to brew day. This is especially important for some of our higher gravity beers where they require more of a kick start.

Balance of Hops

Its a balancing game with hops, getting the right balance of bitterness, flavors and aroma. We are hoping to expand towards growing our own hop plants in the near future.

About D M Brewing

Brewing beer and perfecting our art

Starting off as avid home brewers we have moved on and progressed through various methods of brewing beer. Standard 25L kits using liquid malt extract cans, progressing to extract + grain, to BIAB all grain and now on to a eHERMS setup that we have designed and custom built ourselves. We are progressively chasing a better beer with every batch that we make, across all styles.

OUR TEAM

Brothers unite to brew beer at volume (that is, turned up to 11!).
